Lakers Signing DeMarcus Cousins, After the Patrick Beverley Trade to Complete the Roster

And with some solid names still left in free agency, if the lakers look to free agency to fill out their roster, we're going to be talking about some options for the lakers as the off-season continues, and they try to figure out how they're going to shape up this roster in the midst of Russell Westbrook trade, rumors and how to build a contender for this upcoming season.

So the first player we're going to be talking about is DeMarcus Cousins has an incredible resume, but injuries have made him struggle over these past couple seasons, he's still had a spot in the league, but he's been bouncing around from team to team, he hasn't really had a consistent spot with the team for an entire season, and if he was given that opportunity i think that he could really bounce back and have a good year at least as an instant offense center off the bench a guy who can rebound for you hit a three here or there score inside and if the lakers want some insurance at the center position, then i think that DeMarcus Cousins could definitely be a good option.

In case there're any injuries to guys in their rotation now the next player we're going to be talking about is Carmelo Anthony is an older player, he's 38 years old this upcoming year, is year 20 for him but last season we still saw that he could produce in a nba level with his three-point shooting still being efficient, and he was able to be one of the best floor spacers on the Los Angeles Lakers, and one of the few bright spots on the team that really struggled over this past season.

Despite that he still remains a free agent and if the lakers are looking to fill out their roster, i think he could be a solid option now the next player, we're going to be talking about is Jeremy Lamb, he's had a bit inconsistent three-point shooting numbers but when healthy he could be a solid wing who could space the floor for the lakers and if they want somebody, a bit younger Jeremy Lamb is 30 years old, while Carmelo Anthony is 38.

the next guy we're going to be talking about is Josh Jackson, is only 25 he was the fourth overall pick in 2017, but yet we are this far into free agency, and he has yet to be signed, i mean that's crazy he was a top five pick not too long ago and when you look at his numbers on paper, he's averaged over 10 a game for his career solid enough scoring numbers but the efficiency just isn't there he still has high upside though at only 25, and he was the fourth overall pick, like i said there was a reason, he was picked there maybe if he got an opportunity in lakers.

He could be a solid addition for the team now the last player. we're going to be talking about is Hassan Whiteside, Hassan Whiteside averaged almost a double-double over this past season, and under 18 minutes per game, he also averaged over one and a half blocks for his career, he averages over two blocks per game.
