Lakers rumors: Lakers Trade for Dominant New Frontcourt With Anthony Davis,

The Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz have been involved in trade talks but an MBA executive suggested a trade scenario where the Los Angeles Lakers get involved in a trade with the Detroit Pistons, so we're going to go ahead and get into that.

Lakers rumors: Lakers Trade for Dominant New Frontcourt With Anthony Davis,

So the Detroit Pistons are a rebuilding team, and they have some veteran guys on their roster who maybe the Lakers could try and trade for it was suggested by an MBA executive that the Lakers at Alec Burks Nerlens Noel Kelly Olynyk and Kemba Walker while trading away Russell Westbrook and a 2027 first round pick now while initially some of these guys may not seem like really big names I think that a lot of them could fit really well in La Alec Burks could be a 3-and-d wing for the Lakers I know that Kemba Walker has had struggles recently especially with injuries and even when he was with the Knicks he just didn't see the floor too much.

But he could still be solid in a smaller role to provide some floor spacing Nerlens 's Noel is an elite rim protector and Kelly Olynyk is a really good floor spacer, so I feel like this trade could be solid from the perspective that the Los Angeles Lakers would be able to add multiple guys who could space the floor at a high level in Alec perks and Kelly Olynyk and Kemba Walker, and then they could also add an elite rim protector in Merlin's Noel so you could have Berlins Noel out there protecting the rim alongside Anthony Davis or you could have Kelly Olenek out there spacing the floor alongside Anthony Davis it gives you some solid lineup versatility and then you look at Kemba Walker maybe there's some upside with Kemba maybe he could have some big scoring nights like we saw in New York over this past season.

Even though he didn't see the floor too much we saw some big scoring games from him now also in this trade scenario I have the Los Angeles Lakers trading away Wenyen Gabriel because the Lakers wouldn't have enough room on their roster for all of these players so with trading money and Gabriel they would have enough space on their roster to take on all of these players based on how their team currently stands with 13 players under contract they would be trading away two players and adding four making their roster completely filled up with 15 players under contract.

So when you look at this trade from the aspect that the Lakers would add a ton of additional depth I feel like it's not too bad and it seems like the Lakers haven't been too willing to include true future first round picks and potential trades involving Russell Westbrook so this trade would allow the Lakers to trade away Russell Westbrook and only give up one future first round pick they add in some solid role players and if things don't work out with those guys I think it would be easier for the Lakers to trade them because their contracts aren't as big as Russell Westbrook's and maybe if somebody doesn't fit with the team they could find another role player in a trade that fits a little bit better.
