The Los Angeles Lakers reportedly brought in a bunch of players for free agency workouts the Lakers have one open roster spot that they could use to sign a free agent, some potential training camp battles for that final spot and also some training camp battles for rotational spots with the Lakers having a ton of competition for guard minutes in this upcoming season.

It was reported that Isaiah Thomas was a part of these workouts but it denied that he was a part of that, so the Lakers did work out some small guards according to this report but I'm going to assume that they wouldn't sign another guard, so we're going to talk about some of the Wings they worked out Dwayne bacon is six foot seven Jeremy Lamb is six foot five Shabazz Muhammad is 6'6 and then my a Oni is a six-foot five as well so when you look at those players they could provide some additional size on the wing for the Lakers.

But all of them have had struggles when it comes to their efficiency from the field, and they're not really good floor spacers I think the Lakers could still use additional spacing on their roster, so I'm just not sure where they're going to find that based on these workouts unless they signed another guard but like I said I just don't think that really makes sense because they already have so many guards on their roster but maybe one of these guys could compete for a spot on the Lakers roster.

The Lakers reportedly view Patrick Beverley as a three and D Wing which is kind of crazy Patrick Beverley is six foot one some wings in the NBA are six foot ten or six foot eleven and I feel like it'd be crazy to expect Patrick Beverley to guard those guys I know he's a good Defender.

And he can also bring that floor spacing to the table for the Lakers but I just wouldn't expect him to be able to guard guys who are that tall Aaron Walsh a Bleacher Report came up with a potential depth chart for the Los Angeles Lakers in this upcoming season based on the players who are currently on the roster and when you look at this going into training camp.

I feel like there will definitely be competition to earn those starting guard spots there's just so many guards in the rotation and overall I feel like the Lakers will have to resort to small ball just due to the fact that they have so many smaller guards on the roster and I feel like there will be a lot of competition for those guard minutes on the Los Angeles Lakers and I feel like the Lakers really need another Wing or maybe two more Wings on their roster because even when you look at the potential of Kendrick and unplaying shooting guard he's only six foot two.

And I was expecting them to have a significant role in the rotation for La in this upcoming season but now I just don't know if he'll be able to find those minutes and West brook could even end up getting benched in this upcoming season. I mean there's just so much going on if you're the Los Angeles Lakers and Dennis Schroder's agent said there will be a lot of minutes for everybody so it'll be interesting to see how Darvin Ham comes up with the rotations with all of these guards on the team.
