Austin Rivers and Thomas Bryant have reportedly been two of the standout performers in the Los Angeles Lakers player workouts, and while i thought austin Rivers would have a good season in this upcoming year coming off his rookie season,

Looking at Thomas Bryant he was coming off an injury and as a six-foot ten big man, who can space the floor he definitely was set to be a good player in the lakers rotation, but with those injury concerns i was wondering if he could bounce back with the Los Angeles Lakers after signing with the team on a minimum deal, when Thomas Bryant was healthy in the 2019-2020 season, he averaged about 13 points in seven boards good efficiency from the field over 40 percent from the three-point line it was a really good season for him.

And when you look at the Los Angeles Lakers and projected starting lineups thomas Bryant is there in a lot of those lineups due to his floor spacing, he is a good fit next to Anthony Davis in that starting five but if the Los Angeles Lakers do have Russell Westbrook in this upcoming season, will the lakers go to a d at the 5 for that additional spacing and maybe have lebron at the 4 and then have guys who can space at the 2 and 3 just to, overall improve that spacing or do they run with Thomas Bryant at the five.

Because he did have that year when he shot over 40 from the three-point line but for his career he's only at 35 percent on one and a half attempts, which is solid but you're going to need a lot of floor spacing if you're running lebron Anthony Davis and Russell, Westbrook all on the floor at the same time so maybe they opt to go for Anthony Davis at the five and then also have guys, who can space the floor the two and three like, i said but it's really encouraging that Thomas Bryant is having a good off-season, with those injury issues its good to see that, he's bouncing back, and he could have a great year in lakers.

If he spaces the floor rebounds the ball and scores inside efficiently if he can be a guy who's averaging near a double-double for the Los Angeles Lakers, i mean signing him to a minimum contract would end up being an absolute steal we saw the lakers get a steal last off season, with malik monk, they ended up signing him to a minimum contract he well outplayed that deal, And ended up getting a mid-level exception contract with the Sacramento kings for this upcoming season.

So if you're the lakers you hope that Thomas Bryant does something similar coming off, of a good off season of workouts, and has a great year so that he can outplay his contract and try to get a bigger deal in free agency, that would be ideal for the lakers because then that minimum contract they signed him to would end up being a steal, Kendrick Nunn is another guy who struggled with injuries, he missed the entirety of this past season with the Los Angeles Lakers but now that he's set to return he could have a big year in lakers.
