A trade scenario from greg Swartz's bleacher report where the Los Angeles Lakers, would create a new big three adding Ben Simmons to their roster.

Away quite a few future first round and second round picks, also they trade away Russell Westbrook and max christie now what I like about this trade, is you add in a young player in Ben Simmons, he's a guy who still has a lot of years left in this league, is a good play maker a good defender, he doesn't have much of an outside shot which would make him a shaky fit next to lebron and Anthony Davis but defensively I think that he could help out the lakers a ton being a DPO level defender, this trade scenario is the fact that Ben Simmons had that hold out happen last season, basically Ben Simmons was just doing everything, he could to get out of Philadelphia, it took until the trade deadline he got out of Philly, and he got his trade to Brooklyn. since then he still hasn't played for the Brooklyn nets, so we haven't seen Ben Simmons play basketball, since game seven of the eastern conference semi-finals, where the Philadelphia 76ers ended up falling to the Atlanta Hawks, that was in the 2021 nba playoffs, where the Milwaukee bucks won the championship,  I think that Ben Simmons as a player has a really high ceiling, especially if he could add a jump shot, I mean I know that's something that's talked about a lot but I'm not even talking about a three-point shot, if he could at least add a respectable mid-range something to keep the defense honest, and up on him I think that he could be absolutely amazing.

I mean he's already a great player and all-star caliber player, he's still very young and I think that if he added that jumper that would just add so much to his game. also I think that just playing with more aggression looking to score more would help summons out as well.

Because he can play make at a high level and if he is scoring well he can obviously find those guys who are open and create a ton of offense for his team, so if Ben Simmons was willing to be a guy, who scored a ton for the lakers took some of that scoring load off of LeBron James as, he's going to be 38 in this upcoming season, and also set screens play good defense get his teammates looks, he could be a good fit on the roster despite his lack of shooting ability.
